<p>The PM reportedly emphasized Google’s decision to produce Pixel smartphones domestically while also pointing out that high-end flagships like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Apple iPhone 15 are already made in India, according to CNBCTV18. According to him, India is presently the world’s second-largest producer of mobile phones, exporting goods valued at two lakh crores.</p>
<p>A strong semiconductor manufacturing sector in India is needed to build on this accomplishment, and PM Modi said that an 80,000 crore PLI program is being developed in this regard. He said that the government gives its people’ access to cash and technological resources first priority.</p>
<p>He said, “The goal is to democratize technology and move toward social justice.” “We think that democratization is powerful. Every group and area should profit from development, everyone should have access to India’s resources, everyone should live in dignity, and everyone should gain from technology, according to PIB, which quoted the PM.</p>
<p>He emphasized Bharat Net, which provides internet access to more than two lakh gram panchayats. Nearly 75,000 youngsters are served by roughly 10,000 Atal tinkering laboratories, which provide state-of-the-art equipment. “The future is going to be entirely different and it is a matter of happiness that our young generation is leading the tech revolution.”</p>
<p>Connectedly, the PM said, “India is not only expanding the 5G network in the country but also laying emphasis on becoming a leader in 6G.” To give you some background, around 22 nations and one lakh persons are expected to join the IMC 2023.</p>
